This Black Walnut slab was waiting patiently for its time to become a table. When our client saw it, he knew it would be perfect for his space.

Black Walnut live edge table

Having a 3 year old, we are very familiar with the classic children’s book: Corduroy. When our client called this slab “the little teddy bear sitting on the shelf” the sweet story of Corduroy popped into our minds.

Live edge side table

This side table has a spot between two chairs in our client’s home office. The wider side of the trapezoid shape is great to be situated along the wall.

The swirling grain in the slab is so great! The soft tones of this Black Walnut are very pretty.

The angles of the base complement the lines of the slab top. The onyx color was selected to match the other black furniture in the room.

Nestled between these two chairs, this charming table is right at home! Our client’s home office in Keyport, Washington has a nice new spot for magazines to go.
